Several thousand Perikatan Nasional supporters marched in defiance of the police not granting permission for the rally inside central Kuala Lumpur today. The themes of the rally were “Dakwah Zahid” or charge Zahid, fair and equal laws, and asking prime minister Anwar Ibrahim resign for not implementing the reforms he promised.
PAS is an extremely well organized political organization. They are exploiting the weaknesses of the Madani government. Police did not come out in force today.
Lets see if the leaders of the rally are called up by police over the next few days.
