The mediocre politician thinks of the next election, the statesman thinks of the next generation. If the politicians in Malaysia who are endowed with position, power and authority and paid well beyond their worth financially possess not vision for the future, Malaysia is destined to collapse due to leadership failure and lack of wisdom to professionally rule a nation with so much resources and human talents.

Malaysia with 34 million population has a civil service of 1.7 million employees in her payrolls. This is too many employees without a proper defined function of their works and over capacity of man power without accountability.

For example I just checked with the ministry of education under its minister office. The minister has 3 secretaries-political, private and press secretary. 3 special task officers, another private secretary and 3 special task officers, 4 special officers. Office secretary, 4 admin assistant(operation), 1 photographer, I assistant operation officer and 2 drivers. A total of 21 people in her department. The minister of education has only one Chinese officer in her office.

A look at the deputy minister office has 16 positions.

Has anyone of the 21 people who work under the minister of education ever ask and think what do they do all they long? What are they being paid for what kind of work, they do every working days?

Has the government ever see the need to question the wasted fund to employ such a huge civil service? What will happen to a society that employs a huge work force without the need to work to earn its fair wages? Is that so difficult to comprehend why Malaysia has a national debt of RM 1.5 trillion?

The responsible role of government to manage its people and resources effectively, prudently and justly faces huge obstacles which the current politicians inherited from previous bad policies accumulated and blindness to dare to make changes to reverse the trend. Politicians are too weak-spine to rise up to address the rot. It is safer to remain complacent and flow along until they got kicked out of office.

However, not everything is gloom and doom. It is possible to light a small candle of hope rather than curse the darkness of hopelessness and paralysis.

The people who are comfortable due to cronyism, bumiputarism, corruption, special position which they already occupied will remain so without the motivation to change and take the bull by the horns. Those who can’t learn and will not learn will be left to enjoy their own destiny.

Two kinds of people who cannot progress and keep up with the ever changing trends and constant flow of events are named and spelled out in these two quotes.

First, “The illiterate of the 21st century will not be those who cannot read and write, but those who cannot learn, unlearn, and relearn. ”

― Alvin Toffler (4 Oct 1928- 27 June 2016)

Second. He who will not reason, is a bigot; he who cannot is a fool; and he who dares not is a slave.

Sir William Drummond (26 Sept 1769-29 March 1828)

In India a circus was closed down and the animals were released back to the wild. Ten tigers which used to perform for the circus were returned to the jungle. Eight due to lack of need to hunt for their own food and pampered with ready to eat meat, were attacked by dogs and died. The once fierce kings of the jungle were weakened by lack of exercise to hunt for its food in the hard way, could not over come the attack of the dogs. There is no free lunch, the lesson of the collapse of the Greece government left many of its civil servants in hard ship. How many of our civil servants can endure and survive if the government suffers financial bankruptcy and the salaries stop coming?

The resistance to change, the motivation to learn and become self reliance is not forth coming due to attachment to comfort of life bought by politicians. Prejudice, racism, attitude of entitlement, laziness and lack of initiative to foresee the future all are factors which kill desire to compete with others. Inability to reason and illusion of false sense of security are the seed of destruction buried within the souls of the privilege class.

Attachment is the great fabricator of illusions; reality can be attained only by someone who is detached.

Simone Weil (3 February 1909 - 24 August 1943)

The only hope for the future generation who is still not yet contaminated by the spirit of entitlement, special treatment by institutionalized bigotry , make dull intellectually by formal education, unfair policies prevailing in the nation, is to instill the unborn with a sense of passion for learning, equip these unborn with words, vocabulary, experiencing the joy of discovery, learning, numbers, musical notes and all kind of sounds, voices and mentally stimulants. The unborn mind once stretched and enriched with values, moral ethics, and self taught learner, can not be easily influenced by other voices once a sound foundation has been firmly rooted in the mind of the unborn. This is called prenatal education.

All the child prodigies such as Elon Musk, and many other super-achievers were exposed from the class-room of the womb. Reading is one solid proof that unborn learn much before birth. IN his own words, Musk said, “ I was raised by books. Books, and then my parents.”

He reportedly read the entire Encyclopedia Britannica at age nine and would pore over science fiction novels, comics and nonfiction books for up to 10 hours a day. Some of the most influential books he read included “The Lord of the Rings,” “The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy” and Isaac Asimov’s “Foundation” series.

Mind mapping guru Tony Buzan declared in his study that the human brain cells, multiply, grow in numbers, connect and store data information etc from the quality, intensity and wide variety of the exposures they are exposed and familiarized with while still in the womb. A baby after birth does not learn much from kindergarten or nursery but, before birth.Unless given early exposure in the womb and the baby pick up the joy of learning from there.

If the leaders in this nation pick up the art and science of prenatal education, there is a rich harvest coming two decades in the future. It is better to nurture and furnish the unborn minds with values learning before birth rather than try to eradicate prejudices, prides, inferiority complex or supremist racial mindset after the infection already invaded the mind. The vision to think long term is crucial for success.

Plan for what is difficult, while it is easy, do what is great while it is small.

Sun Tzu

Do the difficult things while they are easy and do the great things while they are small. A journey of a thousand miles must begin with a single step. Lao Tzu

China is a unique example demonstrating the power of womb education. In 40 years by this education, 800 million poverty stricken population is uplifted and the wonder of China is all for us to see and appreciate.

Without prenatal education it is impossible to get souls who are already set in their minds to learn, unlearn and relearn. The last six decades has seen the destruction, obstacles and endless crisis faced by this nation, due to vacuum of the minds already contaminated by culture, tradition, religions which hinder progress. Trying to repair damaged men in high places is a fire fighting exercise that bears no fruit.

Prenatal education is the panacea for Malaysia failed state in the making. Prenatal education has been put to experiment and its work is shown in China as a nation, individually in the child prodigies and the Nobel prize winners.

All truth passes through 3 stages. First it is ridiculed. Second, it is violently opposed. Third, it is accepted as being self-evident.

(Arthur Schopenhauer Feb 22, 1788-Sept 21 1860)

Mariam Mokhtar of Rebuking Malaysia has, as usual, provided a great piece with great insight and truth.

Great shame not all that many Malays are like her.

Or can match her with opposing views.
