Elon Musk is not the saviour of free speech on Twitter. He is just another big tech mogul with his own agenda

Substack links censored

Many were pleased that Elon Musk would allow freedom of speech and expression on Twitter. When, musk took over there were plenty of promises. Then came the “Twitter Files” which have gone quiet. Where are the “Fauci files”?

Twitter is now censoring Substack links, putting up warnings of “spammy work” when you click the links, and stopping anyone from retweeting or liking a post.

If the Covid era and BLM wasn’t enough. Now we are being censored for our ideas and writing because of the platform we use. This is no better than the US government exposes on the ‘Twitter files”, released earlier in the year.

I find myself still “shadow banned” from 2020.

This is not free speech. This is a wolf in sheep’s clothing.

For Twitter, profit is more important than free speech. The tactics used by Twitter to drown out a potential competitor lack ethics.

According to Twitter, my writing is ‘unsafe’. Identified as spammy, malicious, misleading, and violating Twitter rules. We have heard all this before.
