Growing Madani Totalitarianism?
The licensing issue of social media is being canvassed once again.
It was made clear last July that cabinet had decided against licensing individuals to use social media. What was amazing is that this issue was even considered at all. However, Hussein Hamid through his network of contacts has found that the idea is being sneakily raised once again by no other than Fahmi Fadzil, the minister for censorship.

Gila! Facebook, YouTube, WhatsApp, Instagram, and WeChat perlu ada lesen!
Selamat Pagi Malaysia. Please can someone tell me that this KKD Minister did not say that! And if he did, it was because he was high on weeds. Seriously folks, can someone deny or confirm that "Kementerian Komunikasi dan Digital (KKD) akan menetapkan syarat untuk melesenkan pengoperasian media sosial di negara ini.
Social media is digital technology that allows the sharing of ideas and information, including text and visuals, through virtual networks and communities.
Social media typically features user-generated content that lends itself to engagement via likes, shares, comments, and discussion.
More than 4.7 billion people around the world use social media.
Social media is credited with helping people build community and faulted for facilitating disinformation and hate speech.
Social media is also an increasingly important part of many companies' marketing campaigns.
The largest social media platforms worldwide are Facebook, YouTube, WhatsApp, Instagram, and WeChat.

Regulating content of social media? What an innovation. Just imagine this.
Government now takes over the Almighty role of God. Government will stipulate what one shares with one's family, friends, acquaintances and better still- tell the government your grievances in Bahasa Baku- and the grievances may be heard.
We must be the one and the most unique country in the world other than North Korea to think and plan strategies along these lines.
But we are a constitutional monarchy and a multicultural democratic nation where people will be communicating in languages other than Bahasa Baku. Do we tell them, persuade and then threaten them that they cannot communicate in Achehinese, Bengali, Gujarati, Filipino, Javanese, Mandarin, Punjabi, Tamil, Thai and the rich linguistic traditions of Sabah and Sarawak.
Our reason is that the Media Communications Ministry has not got allocations to hire translators for all these languages. And English is not encouraged because it is not in the SOP of the the government's operation manual.
We sometimes tend to forget that we live in an interconnected and interdependent world. We should not be ridiculing ourselves and shooting ourselves in the foot. The Almighty blessed us with a beautiful and bountiful country to live our lives enjoyably to the fullest with mutual goodwill and trust. God bless Malaysia.

I think the supporters of the Himmler Anwar to the Hitler Mahathir must be squirming in suffocating awkwardness for being suckered by the little shifty chameleon closet fascist. So much so that true to the tradition of being little cowards they are frighten senseless of showing themselves up for being such dumb fcuking mindless sheep taken for a good ride by Herr Anwar.
If our dumb sheep have half their sense, they would have sussed out our Himmler, the then iron paw of our Hitler was never for real. Full of himself, the kampong conman was utterly delusional about being Gandhi, Mandela, Rizal, G*d's gift to Malaysia, and if his prized bullsh *t ability would hold up, he is destined to be the great mediator for Gaza. Fancy that only yesterday he was pulling a fast one trying to get Mullah Nik Aziz to recognise Israel!
So come on out you spineless Anwar backside smoochers, pitch for your little Adolf before the few braver ones of you cart the kampong conman out of the bright lights!
For Anwar, you speak of months not years before his bullsh*t runs out.
And before the lights dim for him, make sure you get him to offload his great pile of incriminating dossiers on his ex-boss Herr Adolf, we've waited for decades to have sight of that. Strange that the upright and honest "coalition" never pressed Anwar for the dossiers... these guys sure look like accomplices to blatant dishonesty and moral bankruptcy.
Sieg heil! I'll drink one to you late Oktober Fest, Herr Himmler, then I go throw up!
