Democracy to survive and fulfil its role to safeguard and protect the people, needs vengeful transparency and transparency demands people who are willing to unveil all forms of corruption whatsoever deep they might go, whatever or whoever they might have infiltrate.
Murray Hunter is a researcher with an academic base who knows that despite the dark veils and obstacles, only facts and truths bring understanding not only of the damage done but also of the necessary solutions.
Malaysia is in a vital point. The world is changing fast and even a pandemic managed to put a crucial mark in this change. And while the world is changing Malaysia drowns in Symplegades, compressed between a corrupted political and social schemes and a venal dark state.
Murray Hunter’s research into Malaysian corruption goes deep into the ‘whats’ and ‘whys’ believing and hoping that they will lead to ‘hows’ Malaysia can jump over the deep dark obstacles that hold her back, and become the rightful player it deserves to be into the South East Asian geopolitical chessboard.

In 2023, anwar failed to get the support of the malays. The malays account for more than 70% of citizen and population of malaysia.
What we need in 2024 is generational change and really see new faces in it. Current lot still playing reruns and fighting over history.
Hope someone takes charge.
Corruption will forever be a subject and serious rot that will destroy Bolehland. Every man and his dog/cat knows this. So do all the pigeons in the neighbourhood and beyond.
It's very long overdue that honest and effective action be taken to stop the infectious rot. We cannot depend on our garbage standard politicians in any of our mostly garbage political parties to deal with the huge stink of the cesspool our politicians (and their "VVIP" cronies) swim in.
It is, as usual, left to the concerned public to clean the cesspool.
Who is going to do the big clean-up? It seems for a good part a fair number of Bolehlanders love the corrupt politicians and the rot, the rotten politicians are voted in and out, and back in, all the time. Let's face it, our voters either love rotten politicians like they love belacan. Or our voters are nicely corrupted by the politicians or our voters are just fcuking stupid sheep.
For whoever is left that truly want real change and want the corrupt politicians and corrupt (and useless) politicial parties out, how do they go about really getting rid of the rot? Can they depend on the usual nonsense of voting one rotten political party out in order to replace it with another rotten political party? You cannot indulge in the stupidity of doing the same thing every time and expect a different result, so the saying goes. But yet Bolehlanders have an infinite amount of fcuking stupidity, Alhamdullilah!
We can't depend on the stooge proxies of foreign gomens and organisations, they too are just as fcuking useless as our rotten politicians, and the sellouts of our nation, even when some are trained for violent overthrow of gomens, are without testicular power when it comes to the big day they are supposed to bring the gomen down.
Should not the rest of the thinking public bang their heads on the concrete wall come up with more intelligent way of effecting change? Surely there are plenty of more intelligent, decent, and honest in the country.
We know about corruption, we know about the rotten politicians, so why are we hanging around for magic to happen, the rotten politicians and the rot disappear just like that, Alhamdullilah?!
Rather than forever talking about corruption, shouldn't we (or at least some of us) discuss how to effectively and decisively eradicate the same old same old rot and system that are destroying the country every other person claim s/he so love?
Shall we begin discussion with a Hong Kong style uprising? Don't worry, it's only a discussion, a kok tok, nobody is asking you to run amok anywhere, stick an umbrella up anybody.
Nothing to say? Well, go back to sleep then, thank you!
