Has Anwar chosen the wrong strategy on Gaza?
There should be no more distractions
With Israeli Gaza operations continuing it looks like Hamas will be destroyed. This means a new administration, post Hamas must be installed. This will be the future of Gaza and any two-state solution. Anwar is isolating Malaysia from the future of any Palestinian state with his unrelenting support for Hamas.
The Palestinian people have been ignored. Anwar’s support for Hamas has not even been able to leverage the release of Malaysians still trapped in Gaza (One released just a day ago).
Its time Anwar focused on serious issues facing Malaysia and not use Gaza as a distraction. Kanthan and Kampong Sungei Baru are mini-Gazas. Solve Malaysia’s problems at home first.
Anwar is the prime minister of Malaysia, not Palestine.
As to Gaza, no country will seek council with Malaysia over the issue due to Anwar’s abandonment of the Palestinian people for the Hamas organization.
Anwar has made Malaysia just as guilty of mistreatment of the Palestinian people as Hamas has been.
The people of Gaza have been prisoners of Hamas for far too long. Malaysia must show empathy for the Palestinian people and not play the politics of anti-Semitism.

Malaysia is too small for Anwar's ego and delusion he's an international statesman. While he's not even a bit part player that anyone has even noticed, Anwar is still shagging himself stupid thinking that the rest of the world also thinks he's some kind of "G*d's gift" you want to return to to the shop for a couple of vouchers for box of chicken McNuggets and some fries (only during week days last month)
Even if Hamas is a "terrorist" organisation, so what? Israel has been practising state terrorism since the Brits created "Israel" (much like their creation of "Malaysia") Just because our dear Western uncles tell us to think and do something doesn't mean we have to do it.
Israel's aim has always been ethnic cleansing and it has done that to the utmost genocidal fervour that would make Hamas look a bunch of boy`s scouts.
If Hamas are today's "terrorists" there would be like tomorrow's Mau Maus suing Britain for state terrorism.
Or like Sinn Fein/IRA, former freedom fighters (then "terrorists" to the Brits) , now sitting with the other politicians in Brit parliament.
One man's "terrorist" is another man's "freedom fighter". Who is someone else to dictate who is either?
Btw, if you haven't noticed, the Western "democracies" are losing their narrative in the Israel-Hama war, just look at how frantic Israel is, ceaseless lying and dragging up the Holocaust - not the Palestinian one.
Still, Anwar has to wait to be noticed in the Middle East, it is not as if Malaysia has an army of jihadists going to make any difference to anything, the last bunch got wiped out by their fellow Muslims the Syrians. And the Russians.
