We sure are going to see more negative stuff emanating from Washington after Malaysia openly challanged the USA by declaring that it will join BRICS. And more belligerently, recently stating that its foreign policy would not be be influenced by American pressure.
These are political assessments driven by personal political likes and dislikes and perceptions that are as colourable and influenced by an envious and mainly Western media. New York, Los Angeles and Dallas are far more violent, crime infested and dangerous for tourists (including interstate American tourists).
In a nation with (FBI Stats) over 50,000 reported only rapes per year, 100,000 drug deaths, around the same number of murders and acts of gun violence, 26,000,000 drug addicts and theft so extensive they do not rate anymore on the scale because pople no longer complain about it.
In the slums of Petare there was order (where we filmed part of a documentary 2 years ago) which we struggled to find in Miami, New York or Dallas where we also filmed part of that documentary.
This is a political statment by Forbes rather than an independent and unbiased forensic assessment.
