Najib’s bid for “home detention” has just got one step closer
Precedent will be important in Najib’s case
A report in today’s Dayak Daily reports on a landmark decision to grant a 31 year old female prisoner licensed release for home detention. This is heralded as a major step in penal reform.
Former prime minister Najib Razak meets the criteria just turning 70 years old last year, and the commutation of his sentence by the Pardons Board on 29th January puts his remaining time to serve to just over 4 years.
This greatly strengthens Najib’s case for a judicial review to serve the remainder of his sentence at home. Najib claims that there was an addendum order by the Yang di-Pertuan Agong in the royal pardon granted to him on Jan 29, whereby he was allowed to serve his prison sentence under house arrest.
Now Najib’s legal team has a precedent to cite to the court. Technically, according to new Department of Prisons guidelines Najib could commence release on license on 23rd August this year.
The argument there are currently no provisions for home detention has now been overcome.

After years of getting their balls rattled into a frenzy against Ah Jib, not least by the likes of that toxic Snake Pharaoh M for Memali Massacre Monster, Mamakthir, not many seem interested or bothered about Ah Jib these days, either that there was that concerted rentamob attacks against him or his trial was a done in a weird manner by some kangaroos...
Or that, Ah Jib is still a baddie, and energy and time should still be expended to see to it that Ah Jib rots in prison for a non-discounted jail stretch.
Do Malaysians have grasshopper minds forget things quickly? Are they very forgiving like our hypocrite born-again "Christians"? Do they need Mamakthir to set the machinery and machination going again, go berserk when an elderly white foreign auntie lead them again by their snout?
It would be more honest to let Ah Jib out altogether, have a re-trial, this time, by our other kangaroos, without any interference by our politicial wolves and donkeys.
Meanwhile, when is Fat Jho going to be apprehended, ever? He's everywhere and nowhere just like flight MH370. Or the six or seven stealth littoral warships, so stealthy no wan has ever seen them, including Admiral Sanusi. I can only think there's only some dirty reasons there's no interest in returning Fat Jho to Malaysia.
There's no better show than finding out why the Snake Pharaoh M for Memali Massacre Monster is so hellbent at completely destroying Ah Jib, I'm sure it has fcuk all to do with "Saving Malaysia" or a fcuking ridiculous photo-op crying to little children, wtf!
