The following press statement from the Government of Sabah about the claim for 40 percent net revenue from the Federal Government is redefining federal-state relations. We are witnessing a dramatic change in Sabah’s relationship with the federal government here. This would never happen under a Barisan Nasional government. The ‘unity government’ is perceived as being weak enough now for Sabah to stand up for it’s rights.
Its possible within the next decade that Sabah and Sarawak will become countries within a country. That will be the state of future independence, where other states on the peninsula may follow this lead.

Sooner or later S and S will pull out of Malaysia. The short sighted muslim radicals in KL will be responsible for using race and religion to suppress the rights of the other races and treating S and S as if they are states of Malaysia. They are so short sighted not to realise that they cannot do without S and S. The secession of S and S will be followed by the state of Johor, whose sultan has been looking into the conditions under which the State joined the Federation 70 years ago. So in the near future, Malaysia will be broken up into parts. Penang might also secede if muslim radicals have their way in Malaysia. What is left the muslim radicals can have.
