PAS minister caught lying once again

Religious Affairs Minister Idris Ahmad Lies in Halal Scandal Cover Up to Malaysian Public

In a press release to the local media the Prime Minister’s Department minister for religious affairs Idris Ahmad lied to the Malaysia public.

Party Se-Islam Malaysia (PAS) politician following his leader’s principle that it’s better to lie than tell the truth to forward the cause of Islam, incorrectly asserted that “the country relied on only 18 per cent of imported beef supply from the Thomas Foods International (TFI) Lobethal abattoir in Australia, which allegedly breached slaughtering standard operating procedures, food safety, hygiene and halal standards.”

The minister claimed that according to the new Malaysian Halal Attaché Muhammad Naim Bin Mohd Aziz in Canberra, who is closely aligned with Sirajuddin Suhaimee, Deputy director of JAKIM, who PPIM have accused of being complicit in improprieties claimed that only 18% of Malaysia’s beef consumption comes from the Thomas Foods International, Lobethal plant.

However, The TFO Lobethal plant does not process beef. The plant is dedicated to the processing of lamb. Minister Idris Ahmad has used the local media to disseminate “fake news” to deflect attention from the TFI halal scandal. TFI’s Lobethal website states clearly that the plant only processes lamb and mutton.

Jakim’s own representative SICHMA has only approved the import into Malaysia of lamb and mutton.

The minister Idris Ahmad has clearly lied and should immediately apologize for misleading the Rakyat.

This minister further lied about seeking the cooperation of the whistle blower named “Abdullah”. “Abdullah” in a press conference held in Kuala Lumpur yesterday promised full cooperation.

Who is lying?

This has further weakened not only Halal integrity but the integrity of JAKIM and the ISMAIL Sabri government.

This TFI scandal has now become a political issue concerning the integrity of the Ismail Sabri government.
