READERS COMMENTS: Malaysia
How do you see Malaysia’s future? How would you like to see Malaysia in the future?
How do you see Malaysia’s future?
“There is no future until the majority race changes their attitudes and demonstrates for equity.”
“If we do not act fast and reconcile, I doubt there is any future at all. We will be another Myanmar and the Malaysia we once knew will disappear. I cherish my younger days when once we of all different races were comrades.”
“Who wants to play for the side that tells you are no good? I believe in team-work, collaboration and inclusion. I want to go for what works, not what doesn't work. Dismal are the prospects of the country that turns its back on you.”
“The rise of the muftis and Taliban eventually in time to come.”
“Bleak, hopeless, i think the country will decay into a poor backwards country where religious rule will grip the people tightly.”
“Very bleak, if they continue with the religious push for hudud law.”
“We are on the process of becoming a FAILED STATE.”
How would you like to see Malaysia in the future?
“A prosperous, united, just, and fair nation.”
“A fairer country with no religious and racial discrimination. All must be best on needs and meritocracy.”
“To make policies, rules and plan based on economic means so the wealth of the nation will be divided in an equitable way. No race or religion to be incorporated into policies or laws.”
“All Malaysians are bilingual. And that is our saving grace as the young ones can communicate and address issues. The future is promising after the next election.”
“It’s a small footprint in South East Asia. And educated as well. I am confident it will succeed.”
“It is a herculean task but we must take the first step if we love our country. If we continue like this, I do not see any light at the end of the tunnel.”
“I feel like the conversation needs a game-changer. I would love to see some networking of nonviolent communication and conflict resolution. I feel like we need a major reframing of issues. But we need to have trust to approach the conversation and work through the hard parts without blowing up. We need to have faith in the power of communication. It is only through communication that stakeholders can identify common ground and maximize mutual benefits. We have been in this for so long, don't we owe it to each other to work out the good parts and leave behind the bad.”
“Better mentality, don’t be afraid to take to the streets, that is the only way, Malaysians are too realistic to want to sacrifice short term gains. Everyone is too self-centered and insecure as well to be able to organize properly. The younger more open generation might be key, but they will also face the challenge of a generation being born into a good life, the struggle will be tough and the road will be full of potholes, and i think it will be at least a decade before any genuine change in the right direction can be made, people still have their heads stuck up some idealogue hole.”
“A complete overhaul to meritocracy, equality for all.”
“Rid of monarchy (we have nine sets of parasites) and become a republic.”
“A country with a capable and intelligent leadership. Where there is transparency, integrity, and an unbiased system. Constitutional rights and the judiciary restored.”
“I would like to see is for Malaysia Government to dismantle the NEP Policies, Ensure all Government Bodies do employ multi racial personnel in all Department (Bottom to Top) for check and balance as the current Government Department are all Malays and hence there is no check and balance for Rule of Law as now seen a MACC Chief's Shares SAGA is all protected by the SC and PM beign all Malays.”

Malaysia is all about Malay Rights, it Interests and it Natural Resources enshrined in the Malaysian Constitutions. The Constitution is drafted by all political parties members in Malaysia before it independence. Lim Kit Siang was very glad they are allow to remain in Malaysia after the constitutions were finalized and approved otherwise they have to leave Malaysian politics or pull the plug for home.
For the interests of the indigenous peoples of Malaysia they should decide what they wants for their future and their generations to come.
Malaysia don't want unhappy non Malays. They can pack up, go back to their Motherland if they wish. They can take with them their moneys and love one's including their private land's to make way for the exist. No one stopping them.
Meritocracy and equality has never come for free. Human history spoke volume.
It so obvious meritocracies practices by neighboring countries are they picked the best from family members, friends, relatives and clan members, not the best from public.
What equality you're talking when the Malays fought days and nights for several months to defended their country against foreigners while non Malays quickly went into hiding without even giving foods and water supply to Malays and just to came out and cheers the Malays after they successfully droves away the foreigner.?
I felt ashamed to be Chinese when I met an acquainted in Thailand many years back. He said, you peoples are spineless, senseless, crazy and ungrateful. Not only you peoples don't helps and supports friends, relatives and clan members when in troubles. Instead you peoples try to diappear completely or push them even further down when they came in dire situation's asking for helps. All the other races are not like that. You want us to respects you..?? If for us, we will fights..!!
