"There would not be any perfect solution in near future"

A statement by Ronnie Liu DUN for Sungei Pelek in Selangor:

Just finished reading the book by two renowned socio-economic and political commentators.

Their writings are superb and right to the point.

Malaysia is indeed in crisis and some positive outcomes must come out from this coming general elections ie GE15. Before it's too late.

We Malaysians owe it to ourselves to stop the rot.

Pls bear in mind that there would not be any perfect solution in near future.

There's no such thing as politician or political party of perfection as saints usually do not join politics.

But it's really the duty and responsibility of the party top guns to present their best candidates for the rakyat to choose from.

So not all candidates will be of great quality.

We have to screen down carefully and choose the ones you are comfortable with.

Pls do not re-elect those bad apples. Even if they are coming from the better parties.

We are spoilt with many choices of parties and coalitions this time.

If you ask me, the best choice is still the Pakatan Harapan under the stewardship of Anwar Ibrahim.

Make Anwar our next premier.

Or risk having the tainted politicians to become our cabinet ministers or even prime minister.

I dread thinking about the possibility of the power crazy old man to become our prime minister for the third time.

Comment: It looks like the first casualty of the coming general election is the quality of many candidates. Those facing criminal charges should not run. Those who don’t intend to serve their electorates shouldn’t be selected, The Dewan Rakyat needs Malaysia’s best talent, not party yes people.

AI should become the transition PM. Bring Pakatan Harapan to victory and facilitate a transition to the next generation of Malaysians. AI would have a legacy for that act, second to none. No matter of race, colour, or creed, Malaysians must give Project Malaysia a real chance to succeed.
