There is an element of feigned outrage in this report about the Selangor Mentri Besar and an alleged handing over of RM700 million. apart from it being a mere bald allegation without the evidence (other than hearsay ).
"Datuk" Ambiga Srinivasan the woman who headed the Bersih movement which was trying to overthrow government through illicit undemocratic means made admissions of receiving money from the Selangor state government (an act which constituted treason and sedition at the highest level) rarely raised an eyebrow amongst the legal fraternity, the judiciary and the so called "pro Democracy" forces in Malaysia.
The State government of Selangor did not have the lawful authority, right or power to make any financial contribution in the way they did (sans any public disclosures) to Bersih. It would later become clearer that the CIA funded National Endowment for Democracy (the NED) by its current head admitted to also funding the movement.
Ambiga continues to hold a valid practising certificate as a lawyer in Malaysia (so much for credibility and consistency within the legal profession) inspite of her own disclosures on this topic of corruption, treason and sedition.
However, if Landasan Lumayan Sdn Bhd is a Selangor state government company or a subsidiary thereov, then wouldn't Selangor state elected representatives, especially the Selangor Chief Minister (Menteri Besar) have the locus standii and perhaps even a duty to have a say in what the company does?

I think you hit the nail on the head. But I think there lies much more beneath the surface.
