Back in 2010, Salamath Ali Money, a money changer was charged for violating the Money Changing Acy. He secreted RM 10 Million (deemed as corrupt cash by Bank Negara), to Tok Mat London account and that cash was used to buy Flat 50, Richbourne Court, 9 Harrowby Street, London for Tok Mat.  How did Tok Mat come by the huge sum of money as chief minister of Negeri Sembilan at that time, and why did he transfer the money secretly through a money changer will always be one of life mysteries - but the case was quietly dropped by the then UMNO Attorney General, who ‘cleared’ Tok Mat of any wrong doing.
His appointment to the senior position as Minister of Defense was an endorsement by his President Zahid Hamidi and by PMX, that Tok Mat was a valued member of the Unity Governmentand and much was expected of him to clean up the endemic corruption that was within MINDEF. ..so what has he done in the past year?
Let me story you....
Tok Mat has been a naughty boy. He has been busy cozying up with Mael Bera and that cirit berit Muhyiddin in an effort to bring down Zahid Hamidi and he was offered by the other side to be either PM or DPM if DSAI is no longer in the picture.
If I, 6000kms away in Melbourne, know about Tok Mat's nefarious deeds to do Zahid Hamidi and PMX harm, would it not be obvious that Zahid Hamidi and Anwar (who are in Malaysia and have much much more ways and means at their disposal than me) would also know too?
Of course Zahid and PMX knew. SoTok Mat has been "re-assigned" (to put it politely) to be Foreign Minister so that he will have less time to do mischief in the country! On the bright side of things, Tok Mat now has the world to do any further mischief he cares to do ....kan?
If you ask me, Tok Mat should have been told to go straight to jail. Do not stop to collect RM$200. Do not even pass GO. Just go straight to jail....because he might one day do to the Unity Government what his 'good friend' Muhyiddin did to Pakatan Harapan!
What about Dr Zaliha Minister of Health?
It is hard enough for the good doctor to be a first time MInister in any Cabinet but harder still when she is being bullied by KKM higher ups and those who are still loyal to the ex-DG and KJ. Enough said.
As to why Johari Ghani, aka Dato Jo, a charted accountant, who. sits on the Malaysian Economic Council, and has been in business, politics, back to busness and back to politics again, declined the offer to be Deputy Minister of Finance is also one more of life mysteries. But Dato Jo is a work in progress....so we wait for what this businessman cum politician will next do in his quest to be 'relevant'.

My advice to the naughty boy is to zap up on his English if he finally finds himself having to bugger off to Blighty to escape the whatever consequence for his questionable life as a Malaysian political operator, you can't really get by with the atrocious level of pidgin Anglospeak as offered by our glorified monkeys lah!
So how did this poor specimen of the barely intelligent stumble by such a large sum of money? And how many transaction did Ali the money changer actually handled, the sum mentioned won't get an apartment at said (not Sayeed) address?
I look forward to Zahid and Mullah Anwar providing an honest and forthright answer to mystery of naughty boy's wealth. Even more so how many other politician naughty boys and gals have stumbled upon unusually large sums of money in the course of their serving the nation and folks.
