Since Donald Trump won the US presidency for a second time around, no time has been wasted in selecting a group of change agents to transform US administration. Trump was elected with a well publicized agenda, which included securing US national borders which have caused many social issues with the inflow of illegal immigrants across the country, and fighting the increasing cost of living.
Trump has picked up on this mandate and selected very capable people. This process of going on with new announcements being made on a daily basis.
Trump after two assassination attempts is not hiding from the public, much to the concern of those near him. Trump is receiving heroic welcomes wherever he goes, something akin to a superstar.
Interestingly Trump is putting a major focus on trimming the size and wastage going on in government. The forthcoming Department of Government Efficiency, DOGE as Elon Musk likes to call it, aims to trim billions off the US government budget.
The plight of education in the US is not being ignored either. The Federal Department of Education will be disbanded and rebuilt from the ground.
There is a great realization that high quality education is needed to ‘Make America Great Again”.
Trump is also focused on destroying the censorship that the government-media-Big Tech deep state has created. Free speech is being revitalised. Trumpism believes there can be no democracy without free speech.
Trump is poised to be at the cutting edge of reform. This makes for a very exciting time in the US over the next four years.
Excitement verses bankruptcy
In November 2022, Anwar Ibrahim generated much excitement after his 24 year quest to become prime minister.
There was an expectation that Anwar would reform the Sedition Act, and bring true freedom of speech to Malaysia. There were also high hopes that Anwar would improve Malaysia’s economic circumstances, so the average family would be better off and be able to afford to live. Most of all, people hoped that Anwar would create a true sense of multiculturalism in Malaysia.
Two years into the Anwar administration, so many traditional supporters are disappointed. Even voters within the Malay heartlands have not warmed to Anwar.
Anwar is propped up by an agreement between the old elites, after a hung parliament. He is disappointing those who put him there for failing to live up to his side of the bargain.
Malaysia has less freedom of speech than ever before. Malaysia is more racially divided than ever before. A democracy is being turned into an Islamic Caliph, through a backdoor circumventing of the constitution.
Anwar’s economic plans are great for the elites. Anwar is reinforcing feudalism post haste. Those who point out these facts are persecuted with the draconian laws his party promised to abolish.
The sadist thing about the Madani regime is it is bankrupt of any new ideas. Even the minister of economy had to call in Toh Pah for help, and those who lost their seats in the general election have been given senior positions in the government. Meritocracy has been caste aside with political appointees, and the legal system is being weaponised and lenient for their friends. DNAAs and discounts on sentences are rewards for the elite.
Malaysians, particularly the traditional supporters of Anwar have been following US politics, especially the presidential race. The US election has been a fairytale to them, a story of what could be. They get excited about the hope Trump is giving people, only to wake up with a nightmare that exists in Malaysia today under Madani.
For Malaysia Trump has shown what could be here in Malaysia.

I have been following Anwar since the days when he was the so called great islamic fundamentalist. Those days he projected himself like a walking koran with two legs. Every three sentences he will quote the koran while Ku Li would squeeze in goodies for the Malays after every three sentences. The Malays were mesmerized by this great islamic hero. They were even more bowl over when he had his well advertised black eye. Now I doubt anyone give a damn about him. The last few by or rather buy election saw the green Santa party doing well. Ho ho ho we wish you a merry dedak and a happy new election. As long as Santa gives goodies to the civil servants they let him win because Santa haven't deliver the goodies yet. Once Santa have done that in December they will dump him unless he comes with another ho ho ho. Being a non Malay puts you in a dilemma. While you know it all along what mr. walking koran is good for yet you have to go to the streets and get tear gas to make him the PM simply because the majority of the voters see him as their hero. It's a so called democracy and what the majority of village idiots think goes. Now even the village idiots have given up on him.
Based on observation of the chatters amongst US online groups and social media, the Federal Department of Education is speculated to be disbanded and authority handed to the States government and local counties where parents have direct stakes via school boards and school districts.
