On a separate note Amrick SIngh's involvement with his former client the late Balasubramaniam in the preparation of Balasubramaniam's Statutory Declaration remains more than a mystery. Amrick Singh in previous statements acknowledged he had in fact authored Balasubramaniam's first (and second) Statutory Declarations.

Further more Amrick Singh's conduct in publicly discussing his clients issues (without any proof of authority from his client that his client had waived privilege) raises serious professional conduct issues which the Malaysian Bar ( more than a mere bystander to this matter) appears to have ignored.

Amrick is therefore now a witness to this case (privilege having been waived by his conduct) and is likely to be called (compelled) as a witness in any new trial to be cross examined in any re trial or investigation into the death of Altantuya.

An embarrassment if there ever was one. The interview apart from being a mish mash of unsubstantiated inadmissible third and second hand hearsay, is a regurgitation of past claims by the same people who made these claims previously and is inadmissible as evidence for its lack of credibility and the fact it is unreliable.

Recent embellishment of earlier made claims by an overly ambitious migration agent does not of itself elevate the status and credibility of the regurgitation of the theory that DS Najib or his wife had any direct involvement in the murder of Altantuya Sharibuu.

It is beyond dispute and of their own admissions and their own material that Sirul and Azila Hadri murdered Altantuya Sharibuu. They don't deny their culpability in Altantuya's murder but are instead attempting (with a large dose of prompting and unethical 'legal advise') to deny responsibility for their crimes by claiming "the devil made me do it" defense. Unfortunately such a defence is unavailable to anyone in the position of Sirul and Azila in the position they find themselves in.
