The govt should focus on the East Coast states. They have the highest porn site visits in Malaysia. their young men regularly cross the border into Thailand to enjoy the renown Thai hospitality. And they do it in droves. Then you have the epidemic of physical and sexual assaults and rape occurring in the private religious schools. As though that were not enough, between 2014 and 2017, 200 tafizes were set on fire. The parents who put up thousands of ringgit so that their children could get a religious education lost all their money. Milllions of ringgit went into the pockets of the ulamas. And no one was arrested or charged. If this is what shariah law can give us, I fear for the worst.
Was it not a UN special rapporteur on extreme poverty and human rights (Alston?) in 1999 commented on the questionable (dodgy) statistics on poverty, received quite many angry and defensive mouthfuls from the usual quarters in Bolehland?
Obviously our stats receive more kinky massages than our punters would from those "China dolls", bad stats would create cases of garbage in, garbage out.
I wonder if we still have same statisticians as produced the stats for the UN special rapporteur, or they have since collected their datuks, tan sris, retired or passed on their art and craft of massage to the universities... Or become special advisors to our politicians.

I hope this is true. But given the Malaysian government's track record I'm skeptical.
