Chapter One: Sustainable Development of SMEs in Sarawak: An Overview
This is the introduction of the series of report chapters I am uploading about developing SMEs in Sarawak (Yes, I posted this last). This is applicable for all of Malaysia. The was co-written by Dr Rosni Bakar), formally UNIMAS and UNIMAP). Most of the strategies in this chapter were inspired by my time working with the One Tambun, One Product (OTOP) program in Southern Thailand, a number of years ago.
MSME development policy should be specifically tailored towards each individual community. It needs to be adaptive and innovative to meet the needs of the communities in question.
