The headline is an exaggeration - at least for the big cities... Also and if I am not mistaken, "Nor Sajat was charged under Syariah law for insulting Islam, based upon the way she dressed" AT MECCA(!!!) and for then posting the pictures on social media - which seemed to be intended to piss people off and get attention! Nor Sajat's "business dealings" are also apparently the subject of multiple police reports and court cases (and no doubt interest the tax authorities...) as they involve RM100,000s - for some reason, the media fails to report or ever look into the validity of these allegations. The fact that 100-200 Sharia court officers were, at one point, trying to find this individual (hmm what about finding Jho Low???) and the fact that YOUR GOVERNMENT then gave asylum to someone who is the subject of various financial allegations (Maybe Jho Low is also hiding out down under???) does not say much about government priorities anywhere.... 🙄😀
