Special privileges are a toxic plague, infecting societies with discrimination and entitlement. Like an addictive drug, they devour the very fabric of equality, rendering the addicted dependent on unearned advantages. The US sanctions against China serve as a stark reminder that such privileges will inevitably boomerang, crippling those who rely on them.

Discrimination's insidious effects will decimate the potential of the privileged, reducing them to frailty and irrelevance. Meanwhile, those who face the harsh realities of meritocracy will emerge as titans, their resilience and competitive spirit forged in the fire of adversity.

The exodus of top talent will further ravage the land, as the brightest minds flee a system that rewards bias over brilliance. If Malaysia's leadership fails to excise this cancer of discrimination, the nation will succumb to the darkness of inequality, forever lost to the quagmire of entitlement.
