Palestinian Arabs are fighting an invader. They are being slowly squeezed into enclaves like West Bank and Gaza. Hamas is fighting for return of their land against an invader called Israel. IDF is not fighting in self defence. They are fighting to impose their rule and will which is to cleanse the land of Arabs. But they cannot do it without the full support of US. US has passed a bill to halt the avalanche of antipathy towards israel by making support for Hamas punishable by sanctions. By doing so it is acquiring opprobrium from the world. The war in the ME will be a long drawn out one and will be the new Vietnam. The first Vietnam bankrupted USA. This war in ME will drive the nails into American economic coffin. It may not be obvious to many that america is the primary target. America has fallen into a trap set by the Arabs. When Americans go home in body bags, the uproar at home will force america to leave the region. Israel is nothing without American support. Arabs are playing the long game.
The Chinese are playing the long game too, they are getting the US drawn into the Middle East and be stretched long and thin like handpulled noodles by Iran etc on the way to Taiwan where China will hit the US with weapons made by China many with Israeli assistance from over the last two decades.
