"The party manifesto appears to have been abandoned by PKR in government."

The manifesto is not the Bible.

"the resemblance of government policies with recommendations of the IMF and World Bank"

The Cut n Paste is standard with the sycophantic stooges of the West, especially the US.

Anwar is a political midget with no imagination and minimal ability. His best times was with Hitler Mahathir when Anwar was the heavy hand of the nasty duet.

All the signs are here already, Anwar is on the way out - when he's just got in!

PKR is a dying swan.

In a couple years to be a dead duckie.

PKR's only hope of survival is to get rid of Anwar.

PKR was formed in April 1999. The purpose of the party was to enable Anwar to become the prime minister of Malaysia.

Now that Anwar is the prime minister, the next goal for PKR is to let his daughter, Nurul Izzah take over as its next president.

She will then use PKR to be the first woman prime minister of Malaysia.

At the moment, the drop in support for PKR doesnt really matter. GE16 is still four years away.

PKR as a party has no grassroots members. It has no real division or branches. Even if it has, the numbers are small and inconsequential.

PKR strength are its president and its ability to get the support from Dap and its proxy Malay party (Amanah) to form a coalition. On its own, it has a smaller reprentative in parliament than Dap.

Dap is loyal to Anwar at the moment. He helped grew Dap from nothing to the most powerful party in the federal, state and local government in malaysia.

Once DAP (and Amanah) has enough seats and with Kit and Guan Eng gone, the new generation leaders may form a new coalition with Sabah and Sarawak states. This to form a federal government without PKR.

PKR should prepare itself to be a strong party on its own by GE 17. Maybe it should start taking its Permatang Pauh declaration seriously. No?
