Me Dad told me that there was a time the Yellow-skinned Englishman Harry Lee/Lim Kuan Yew wanted Singkies eat more bread, to wean the population off rice which Singapore was heavily dependent on the commie Chinese for.

That was the "Eat More Bread" campaign. Didn't work. Not because there weren't that many northern Chinese (bread-eaters) around, but because, like sticking chewing gum all over the lovely MRT carriages, the Singkies were telling the then gomen to stick it with its great idea. With the chewgum, as usual the Sg gomen couldn't take it, and there arose the famous hefty chewing gum fine.

Stupid, incompetent and corrupt. It has always been like that. Even after Malaysia has fallen, they will still be thinking how it happened. Such is their low level intellect.

Syed mokhtar was able to keep the price where everyone was happy. When pmx open up the industry, all his friends repack the local rice into an imported packaging and charge exorbitantly.

Shame nothing resulted in the rice and rice of Mullah Anwar and his freak circus of the MacDani gomen.

In other words they failed to rice and shine, failed to help the poor, useless bastards!

Even if advanced technology is more sexy a direction to develop Malaysia, we are only able to go the agricultural path, we ain't got the workforce. And on that agriculture front, be far behind Vietnam, Thailand, Indonesia, oil palm here, there, everywhere, wtf!
