Maybe an economic slowdown is not altogether a bad or even disastrous thing.

If the slowdown is very slow, our thick and slow-witted retards can just about catch up with it. And maybe grab the ball.

"Any coming recession may force the government to become reform minded."

Careful what you smoke...

Bolehlanders are so used to our incompetent, dumb, sh*t4brains politicians fcuking things up routinely and religiously they may not just sleep through any recession, they won't even notice themselves spiralling down the waste pipe with our serial worthless gomens. Comical Mullah Anwar and his gomen of biological misfits won't be any different, "reform" or not.

Now go back to sleep, bury your tiny midget head in camel shiite and you won't see the coming recession. When you wake up, Bolehland would still be that familiar sh*thole country. Only worse than ever before.

We always get cited all sorts of economic theories and "gems" of wisdom but what exactly for I've yet to find out. If any economy is run based on the above, we sure would have solved a good part of problems with our economy and so on.

But why is it with all the wisdom from all our geniuses our economy remains all fcuked-up, as ever?

Could it be on top of our corrupt moron political monkeys, we have a pretty unique fcuked-up electorate too that routinely vote in our bunches of corrupt political monkeys?

Yes, keep bring up all the economic theories and bright ideas as your genius suggests, but it should be a better idea to work out why they failed in Malaysia. Then do something serious and useful with your discovery.

Every country's economy is a delicate balancing act. Malaysia should cut the OPR but doing so, especially with stubborn or increasing rates for the USD, will send inflation in Malaysia skyrocketing.

Malaysia's economy needs to open up. Why, for example, is the import of rice limited to only one company? Or eggs? Don't the big brains operating the economy see how stupid this is?

The only reason foreign workers are "needed" is so companies can pay them lower wages than Malaysians. If the importation of foreign workers were severely limited, companies would be forced to hire local people and pressure to raise wages to at least the government's "suggested" minimum wage would increase.

Malaysia's economy is already crumbling. Future threats are piling up but even without them Malaysia would still be in big trouble. In a normal economy, one not controlled every step of way by connected VIPs, GLCs, and GLICs, dodging some of these issues would be easier. Malaysia, however, has dug the hole they are in now and no one knows how to get out.

The most concerning sign is profligate spending. Dr M says a country cannot go bankrupt unlike a person. Successive Malay centric govt have profligate spending as a feature of their governance. AI has given hand outs a few times since gaining office. Each time is a few billion gone directly into the pockets of his target audience. There is no ROI. Just money for them to spend. The day of reckoning in nigh. But no worry. AI will be there to throw some more money to his Madani audience.

Mamakthir and/or his sons should run free courses on how they became so wealthy in spite of the fact they are not endowed with any particular qualities.

Giving away free the secrets on how Mamakthir and his children could be so rich would sure help others and the economy.
