Who do thosse rights belong to then? The Chinese Sarawakians? No way. In claiming to speak for the "people of Sarawak and its indigenous inhabitants," the Chinese are being disingenuous and outright dishonest.

Who the hell tells the Murrays of this world the federal government does not have the right to grant exploration and exploitation rights over Sarawaks oil and gas anyway?

Its not as if the Chinese and British in that state prior to merger were acting as benevolent custodians and guardians of the rights of the people of Sarawak especially its indigenous inhabitants.

The Wong goverment of that state and its Chinese inhabitants, plundered its resources from timber and coal, oil and gas at a rate worse than what the British colonial rulers did.
