Obviously Barkie is not a particularly bright fella though he is conscious enough and knows how to be a sneaky operator not to bite the hand that stuffs his face. The wretched, shifty, and blatantly dishonest system that has been and still is the kind of gomen we are cursed to put up with, the likes of Barkie sure has his use.
I sure won't bundle my stocks and shares with his or his brother's nor would I trust a useless decorative outfit like the MACC, Malaysia needs a totally independent outfit, maybe subcontract the job to Singapore. In exchange Singapore can let our PAS run their Ministry of Extramarital Affairs.
The problem lies in their freedom to have such an ideology as reflected in their constitution. Maybe it's time for the government (presuming PN takes over with a super majority in due time) to amend the federal constitution. Some clause can be included to bar political parties from having such an opposing constitution if they intend to participate in the political activities of the country. Would that be possible or desirable and will there be dissent leading to further instability?
We have been very effectively pacified by the pernicious ideology of a consumer society that is centered on the cult of the self - an undiluted hedonism and narcissism. That has become a very effective way to divert our attention while the country is reconfigured into a kind of neo-feudalism, with a rapacious oligarchic elite and an anemic government that no longer is able to intercede on behalf of citizens but cravenly serves the interests of the oligarchy itself. Chris Hedges
The care taker government in any election has an advantage over the un-elected opposition, as the power to use the people's money is still allowed during campaigning period.
“A democracy cannot exist as a permanent form of government. It can only exist until the voters discover that they can vote themselves largesse from the public treasury. From that moment on, the majority always votes for the candidates promising the most benefits from the public treasury with the result that a democracy always collapses over loose fiscal policy, always followed by a dictatorship. The average age of the world's greatest civilizations has been 200 years. These nations have progressed through this sequence: From bondage to spiritual faith; From spiritual faith to great courage; From courage to liberty; From liberty to abundance; From abundance to selfishness; From selfishness to apathy; From apathy to dependence; From dependence back into bondage.”
― Alexander Fraser Tytler(born March 2, 1970)
It is human to err, only saint is above error and sin of the flesh, why the care taker deputy PM can get away with such votes buying act by giving financial incentive during election? The answer is we can make all the noise about bribery during election but if the authority sanctions such act what can the masses do?

Anwar's promise to dismantle monopoly in business is a hard act to follow, as the war is not in his favour.
Economics dominates politics - and with that domination comes different forms of ruthlessness.

Worse than corruption, nepotism and oligarchy Malaysia also is heavy into kakistocracy.
which is a form of government in which the worst persons are in power
Hence there is very few instances of debates among competing candidates.
Anwar is in kedah today. His ego is bruised. His army general has called for help. Saifudin nasution is not up to stopping the new political star. Sanusi seems to captivate the imagination of everyone. He is the new icon. He has this gift of people listening to him when he talks. And talk he did.
For years anwar gave the impression that he is all about virtues. Everybody believed him. Now they found out that he had everyone fooled.
Sanusi arrived just on time in the political scene to humiliate anwar back on behalf of the people. Again and again. And the people loves it.
Sanusi called anwar a fraud, a liar, a loser, a bisexual freak and a dumb clueless pm.
Anwar once the bully is so suitably mortified that he had to seek refuge in the form of an interim injunction from Sanusi to stop from being harrassed.
Sanusi intimidate anwar further by teasing him ' you baby, such a spoiled child this anwar..whose kid are you anwar? And he laugh and laugh...the crowd puas hati! Serve you right anwar. Liar!
Stop the attacks for now. You may always go ballistic after the PRN. Or better still until after the next GE. Do you truly believe PN, if successful in overthrowing the federal government, would be any better?
Ph, the problem is dap is too controlling from the back. Those guys hurt business communitt, especially the chinese as they go after their dilinquent tax. Dbkl has not given any development order for the last 8 mths. how are the contractors going to survive? How to pay the banks and staff salary? Many are having cash flow issues and many sand miners also suffer. the demand for sand has gone down as there are no construction job approved.
Dap given their 40 seats are only thinking of working with sabah and sarawak.they plan to support ma63 so that the n borneo states can have up to 78 seats. If this is achieved by 2024, they can form government without pkr, umno, pas or bersatu.
Dap should not destabilise the balance we have at the moment.
So, it's DAP that is the real issue here. Or rather their growing political power hence Chinese political power. It's acknowledged that the Chinese are, without doubt, in control of the economy. That being said, they should not try to grab political power as well. Thus, depriving the Malays of that power. This is quite understandable. How do we go about talking the DAP or any future Chinese party from joining the democratic political process? Will the banning of non-Malays from forming political parties or, even, voting be a solution? We have not reached that stage but it could be on the minds of those who are hell bent on denying the Chinese any more that what they already have.
Son, holding economic power is holding political power. The Chinese being a timid lot prevent themselves from exercising their actual political power.
Malaysia has way more Chinese than Indonesia, Thailand, or the Philippines, these countries have barely a couple percent each of Chinese to their population.
Yet they control more than just the economic front, they make or break politicians - if they are not already the politicians in gomen and the generals in the military.
We heard a good bit of noise about the Chinese Ah Hock who was removed from high office in Jakarta. Before his time Indonesia already had a Chinese president Abdurrrahman Wahib.
Nearly every Thai prime minister are ethnic Chinese. And most Filipino presidents too.
It's only Chinese Malaysians who are a jolly damn ineffectual lot, forever making a lot of noise and getting nowhere. Say, when are you going to demand a Chinese prime minister, eh?
We are a constitutional monarchy and, by convention, only a Malay PM is acceptable. The Chinese, as do all other non-Malays, understand this. Although nothing in our Constitution bars a non-Malay PM, none of them in their right mind would ever demand a non-Malay PM. The other SEA nations you mentioned are a kingdom and a couple of republics. Their politics are different.
Having done business with the late dr chen man hin, met kit and guan eng, i had suggested to them to relook into dap's party constitution.
Dap's ideology, principal and constitution are against that of
our federal constitution. The constitution is the very essence of our nation.
Other chinese party have always been part of our nation's democratic political process but their party constitution are not a socialist which is a first cousin to a communist ideology.
Dap is against malay special privilleges and malay rulers. Dap also reject islam or any religion as malaysia's official religion.
No one is denying dap or the chinese of what they have and theres more for those who know how and want to create wealth.
Its just that wouldnt it be more in the spirit of our nation if dap are not opposed to our federal constitution.
How can Azam Baki bite the hands that feed him? His employment status as MACC chief depends on the government who appointed him in the first place, Wasn't there this condition agreed upon before his employment as head of MACC is renewed? You help me and I help you in return?
There is something wrong with this madani team. Nothing seems to work. The court too is considering zahids appeal on his 47 corruption trial. What about the ag? Why is he going to withdraw the criminal charges on zahid? The dap led madani team seems to use anwar to weaken the malay party while their inexperienced low on talent economic minister need 8 mths to google carbon free based economic narrative?
