I have always felt that it was weird Ukraine was not allowed long range weapons against Russia.
It essentially meant Ukraine fought a war with its hands in the back. It meant Ujraine could only mount defences not offensives.
How to even consider winning such a war?
One wonders had Ukraine attacked deeper into Russia from the start, could the Russian people's opposition to the war limited Putin's aggressive ambitions?
But now hopefully with the Russian people feeling the effects of a war so close to home, domestic opposition may impact the war.
