Plutocracy :A government controlled exclusively by the wealthy either directly or indirectly.

“When a plutocracy is disguised as a democracy, the system is beyond corrupt.”

― Suzy Kassem, Rise Up and Salute the Sun: The Writings of Suzy Kassemla

Why is Malaysia and all over the world corruption is such a common infection afflicting the politician community?

"The downfall of every civilization comes, not from the moral corruption of the common man, but rather from the moral complacency of common men in high places." ~ E. Digby Baltzell (November 14, 1915 - August 17, 1996)

Attachment is the great fabricator of illusions; reality can be attained only by someone who is detached.

Simone Weil (3 February 1909 - 24 August 1943)

The mass media of this world are often flooded with news about the rich and famous. The world worships the 100 richest men or top 25 who maintain their riches over the up and down of the economic cycles. This passion to keep the wealthy in the limelight often- is the obsession for the masses to be wanted to be notice and lavish with attention.

So the key to be in the elites club is to be rich is to wanted and given the adoration just for being rich. This is the driving force to want instant millionaires at any cost. To be rich by hook and crook is to be successful.

The sober minded few and morally upright are not so easily persuaded that instant money is the answer to all life’s problem. Hence attachment to wealth is not a fabricator of this illusion to be instant millionaire by corruption

The avarice politicians will do well to remember this famous Alexander the Great-Last Words

After conquering many kingdoms Alexander, the great Macedonian king was returning home. On his way the great commander fell ill which led him to his death bed. He realized that his captured kingdoms, strong army, sharp weapons, wealth and treasures were useless to him now. His only desire is now to reach home and see his beloved mother’s face for the last time. But he felt he would not be able to reach his far away motherland. The mighty conqueror was on his death bed waiting to breathe his last. He summoned his generals and expressed his three ultimate wishes.

1.His coffin must be carried by the best doctors after his death.

2. Along the way to his procession to the cemetery silver, gold, diamond and precious jewels should be scattered.

3.Both of his hands should be let open hanging from the coffin for everybody to see.

One of his officers, who was very much surprised about his strange wishes asked the great king about the reason for his unusual wishes.

The Great King explained:

1.I wish that my coffin should be carried by the best doctors. By this I want to show everybody that when death comes no doctor in the world have the power to heal you.

2. By my second wish of scattering silver, gold, diamond and other valuable jewels on the way to the graveyard I wish to show everybody that the material treasures you accumulate will remain in the earth. You cannot carry ever a fraction of gold with you.

3. I wish my both hands to swing open outside the coffin to show the people that we come to this world empty handed and we must leave empty handed from this world.

All future politicians will do well to remember while aspiring to the high office of being somebody:-

The final words of Archbishop Justin Welby's parting words before the burial of queen Elizabeth's body was taken to return to dust," Now let us remove all symbols of power from the coffin,so that our sister,Elisabeth can be committed to the grave as a simple christian."

Immediately ,the staff of office, scepter, crown, and all valuables were removed.

Note the honorific 'queen' was replaced by 'sister'

Humility is the only crown that cannot be taken away.

We need to remember power and glory end upon death.

Naked we come and naked we go, all the wealth is just given to the rich as a trustee and steward for living.
