If you were the most powerful man in the country and your wife badgered you to buy this get her that, wouldn't you? Just to prove your worth as a man and the most powerful man at that. I can hardly imagine Najib going around wearing tiaras and brooches and earrings as I'm sure no one has.
He has no need for such baubles and he already came from a rich background and yes he stole for his beloved wife and yes he didn't run a tight ship (pun not intended), but which prime minister, nay which MINISTER isn't corrupt in this country???
I'm not saying he should get away with his crimes, not at all but at least give him the chance to redeem himself first before consigning his fate to where he would be of no help and use at all. At least he is the most qualified, not only with the pedigree of an upbringing in politics and business, having being educated in the prestigious University of Nottingham, and all the influence needed to bring our country back from economic hell compared to the other fools in power right now, instead of continuing the witch hunt set forth by another much more corrupt former premier for just being what anyone else in his position would have done anyways.
