In Malaysia whenever there is a crisis, the government turns to Islam for help. Inevitably Muslims will be told to pray more, and cover up yourself from head to toe. That’s the way to join the Club of Doom.

Islam is a progressive religion. Its believers are guided to find fulfillment in life. For those who have knowledge of islam, they speak with adab. Hence madani.

Those that are ignorant are of course biadab.

JAKIM is a religious Islamic body, what does it know about the economy? Are we going to end up like Ayatollah's Iran, ruled by religious bigots? Or is it Anwar's attempt to control JAKIM?

Islam knows more about economy than the infidels. Please refer to the koranic scriptures to be rightly guided in economy.

Check the golden age of islam.

You will find out that algorithms and algebra were created by the muslims.

It is based on these that generative artificial intelligence are created today,ie self learning machines.

In Baghdad and around those region in 900 a.d.

Theres medicine, literature and more..wealth creation were vibrant then..

Dont believe too much in western capitalism. The system is flawed whereby top 1% own 90% of worlds wealth while the rest 99% share 10%.

its no rocket science to say that the government's achilles heel is the economy. Its all about the economy. The problem with the Anwar government and all his supporters who called the older government corrupt and incompetent.

Well fair enough, but for the nearly 3 decades during which Anwar rioted with his followers and secured funding from the US and other foreign governments to bring down a duly elected government he was all bluster and no substance. Now that the baton has passed on to him he remains frozen in his position with no direction oor plan as to where to go and how to get there.

You can say things like deal with youth unemployment and small to medium businesses. But who in all conscience will invest in a Malaysia thats so divided courtesy of Anwar with his promises to turn Malaysia into a theocracy and a youth that's more into fighting affirmative action instead of getting to work.

Good comment. Anwar must start by forward selling some of our oil n gas to china at 10% discount. We must get at least usd 30bil from this by august. Use this to pay rgt 50bil of our cost of funds and another rgt50bil for some of the subsidies. Only worry about government salary and pension. Do what daim did in 1987. Ask him.

Then focus on small medium industries.create 10,000 coffee shops.they usually sell about rgt800 per day and a profit of rgt300 a day.

This is better than bailing out sapura energy.

Our economy will be vibrant if rafizi is not around.that guy has no capability to lead. Cakap lebih.

The best solution to turn around the economy is to focus on small medium enterprise. The current facilities are adequate but the agencies are lazy. Once these are properly motivated, the roadside traders will definitely be creating wealth and the economy will be vibrant again. Sme should contribute 60% of gdp instead of just 40%.

Forget rafizi.

He is clueless, unskilled, inexperienced and has no or very limited talent to turn the economy around.

Anwar has the experience but no one to help him.
