Anwar is a world class politician. He has many influential international friends. He uses them but do not trust any.

Paul wolfowitz, the architect of iraq war, Gareth Evans the once international crisis group chief counts as his strong international advocates. They all use Anwar to get funding for their own pockets from the US governments.

The CIA is more effective. The agency has real power to effect change. These guys use guns and roses to make things happen. Whenever they want it.

CIA, unlike these NGOs, tell Marcos to leave phillipines because the US govt was done with him. The same with Shah of Iran and Suharto. Tun M was left to rule only because he told them he will resign in 2003. So they left him alone and Anwar had to wait in prison.

Whether it is IRI, NED or ICG, they all are softies that claim to be non profit, promote freedom, democracy and help research, train and upskill candidates and political party to win elections.

Rafizi, being not very sharp and having not much international exposure has no idea that those datas are manipulated. The skewed information are sent to the funders so that these organisations get more funds. The funder ie the american government know this too but doesnt really care.

While it is true that we need no outside interference, US government and its ally now know Malaysia need to reform ..but not by quacks. They are probably thinking twice now what to do..🤣

If the stooges win the election, I can't wait for their old masters to squeal with delight at the job well done for some foreign gomens.

Last time that happened wasn't it a certain Twining fella crooning over the proxies and running pooches and giving the sellouts their nice pats on the head and no dog biscuits?

Yes, foreign interference very much alive...

Know very little about that one. All just like anything that comes out of Anwar's trap, it's always excessive wind and hot air that always amount to nothing beyond cheap hype and Anwar's obsessive need to be verbal. I gather Anwar is a suspicious, sneaky, slippery character, talks rot uncontrollably, rarely truthful.

Only interesting things that's he's ever dung are oppointing his daughter to be his advisor, and rubbing shoulders with the Sulu lot.

Standing next to Jokowi, Anwar looks every bit a genius from a Malaysian kampong. Always best to run back to Mahathir, without the Keralalee, Anwar cannot look, talk, and walk like a caricature of a Tamil from the rubber estate, not being funny about races here...

Oh, would help to know more about those Chinese MOUs, the Musk deal, ... and the long long-awaited pile of hot shiite dossiers on Mahathir

To see where Anwar maybe taking the country to is to appreciate a bit of history.

In 1953 the Chinese immigrants were given land in towns plus free infrastructure built by the British. The Malays were pushed to the villages.

In 1957 Tunku was forced to give them full citizenship, all 2 mil of them in order for Malaya to gain independence.

In 1963 PAP wanted to make Lee Kuan Yew PM of Malaysia by taking 35% parliamentary seats of Sabah,Sarawak Singapore plus 30% of semenanjung Chinese seats. The 65% would have made him PM of Malaysia.

In 1966 DAP was formed as a proxy to PAP and their goal was to take over Malaysia politically and economically.

2023. They succeeded and are now the Puppetmaster in Putrajaya.

This upcoming State Elections next week may determine if the fate of Malaysian Malays will end up like that of the Muslim Malay Pattanis in Thailand or even worse, that of the Singaporean Malays.

DAP is letting Anwar do the work. His reward? He gets to keep his job at the moment.

Elon borrowed 13b from the bank unsecured and additionally pledged 10% of twitter stake worth 4b, 7b from larry ellison and prince talal as equity investors and probably his own cash of 20b from placing out his own tesla shares.Any shortfall must have been raised by PMX. (that bungling bodoh PM of malaysia🤣)

Mark released THREAD as a feature of META whose stocks are valued at 800b. Given twitter X is only worth less than 10b today, how long do you think before Mark will add features n functions, advantages and benefits of THREAD to wipe out any value left in Elon's twitter X?

🤣🤣🤣

Would it not be beyond Elon Musk's capability (and interest), twiddle X/Twitter to manipulate support for Anwar who's done more for the benefit of Tesla and Starlink than for the interest of Malaysia?

Elon musk is over leveraged. Most of his shares are pledge to the bank. His credit limit is almost 90% used.

His mistake is to buy twitter based on borrowings. Usd 44bil.

Mark zuckenberg knows this and quickly come out with Thread. Now, no one uses X. It is losing money and elon cannot pay the bank loan. Twitter X is now worth only usd 4bil.

Soon tesla too will be hammered by BYD which produce much cheaper electric cars.

Anwar should wait for the right time to make an offer on Starlink. At force sale value. 👍😇

"Now, no one uses X" I laughed out loud when I read that and it calls into question your other points which might be more accurate. Its Threads that BOBODY is using and is dead on arrival! Twitter usage just hit an all time high - even I am using it more than before which was almost never given the algorithms and censorship issues... He is trying to turn it into a Superapp with payment processing - there is a good opportunity there for that...

Threads is the next Google+... Twitter's pre-Elon valuation was a complete mirage as it was never viable before Elon took over b/c it was mainly subsidized directly or indirectly (aka big corp advertisers more or less TOLD to advertise on it to help fund it...) by the US govt who also directly or indirectly funds much of the media globally... Whether Twitter can survive w/o that funding is an open question but getting rid of 80% of the dead weight employees (including all the intelligence operatives....) and moving to a subscription model gives it a much better survival chance now that the US gov't direct and indirect funding has mostly dried up... Add in payment processing or other possible services and it becomes a viable standalone business albeit not one with the crazy pre-Elon valuation...

Tesla's problem is that it's also subsidized by the US gov't who is not happy with Elon over Twitter, Americans simply DON'T want electric cars (baring some miraculous breakthrough with the batteries, they are not viable for the average American driver...), and the Chinese can make cheaper EVs (+ they have coal to power them at home)....

Thread should start by adding chronological feeds and the ability to search for hashtags, it can create better ad campaign when meta opens that opportunity. Elon is hurting.

Space X is supported by 150bil of US gov money under the NASA award programme. Imagine when the funding stops.

Tesla is worth about 800bil but elon can only borrow 3.5bil based on collateralising tesla shares at any one time.

If Charlie Munger put 100mil in Tesla 20 yrs ago, he would have made 350bil by now.🤣

BUT nobody is using Threads!!! No users = no advertisers unless they are told to advertise on it by the govt, blackrock, etc who are invested in or have a vested interest in FB... I suspect FB users have also plummeted as well - I rarely see most people posting anything anymore and many smaller businesses have pulled back on algorithm driven social media in favor of old fashion mailing lists etc of core customers...

The US govt has NO viable alternative to Space X other than the Russians and Chinese... Granted, they could claim national security or something and seize it like they did in the past with German Pharma companies, etc. OR try to force Musk out...

As for Tesla, 800bil is massively inflated value for a car company that produces very few cars...

Anwar has a stash of money hidden somewhere to make an offer for a dying company? Would he ask Johnny Soh to wire funds from Singapore? Or would Yank faith in a proxy convert into money to buy a loss-making X and/or Starlink Anwar doesn't know anything about, let alone run? Or we buy those outfits with money we haven't got and run them down naturally - which is what our dumb politicians do anyway?

And yes, we may yet see BYD gobble up Tesla outlets in Malaysia for the price of kangkong when they finally appear. It might be just as nice, Tesla dies in Malaysia as in China

A couple of weeks ago I met a small group of about 5 or 6 young Malay men I would describe as yuppies. They were solidly pro-Anwar. Talking with them individually a few days later I told three of them some of my (most unfortunate) experiences 1992 - 1995 and they were not surprised.

Each did a little research in regards to some individuals I mentioned relating to my experiences. Very shortly thereafter each received a phone call and disappeared. Group silence was then followed by a party binge by the group for several days and I strongly suspected drugs and/or a lot of alcohol; e.g. all night long and they either missed work or were really late (except for two who appeared straight). One was very sick after one such party. Then one showed me a bogus "scientific" graph of steps leading to greater awareness and "enlightenment," (I loath pseudo-science by the way) and he told me about the Deputy Prime Minister being corrupt. He didn't mention "unproven allegation," or anything like that. He KNEW it! The group had switched against PM Ibrahim.

On the surface it appeared someone was following their telecommunications and knew the young men's phone numbers, and they were seduced using what I suspect were drugs (I was a counselor and family therapist for delinquents in the US many years ago), unproven accusations against the deputy PM, and God knows what else, to switch allegiances.

If my observations were correct, there is some really sophisticated and dirty in-fighting going on below the surface to influence the Selangor election at least.

As for the general topic of the above article, I stand by the UN charter prohibiting interferences in domestic affairs of other nations. That written, I noticed on Start Trek a couple of times, the intrepid Mr. Spok and Captain broke that iron rule to save a race from extinction. Don't forget there are large Euro-American investments in Malaysia and they have an existential need to encourage clean politics.

I also know the US funds and trains all sides in most conflicts, and, democracies provide a perfect battleground to test and perfect different strategies to exert global control. Now let me think, which political party in the US is more likely to use and distribute hard illegal drugs... oh yes(!) I know!

As for PM Ibrahim, the jury is out, and I prefer to give him time rather than go back to the chaos, oligarchy and neo-liberal policies of the past.

I was very impressed by an article this morning: https://www.nst.com.my/news/nation/2023/07/936797/rafizi-govt-remains-committed-improve-welfare-people-despite-high - indicating the current government is not borrowing against the future to buy votes today (e.g. via further subsidies for petro), as so many other especially American politicians typically do - and instead appear to be using economic realities and reasoning to get votes, betting most people are smart enough to figure it out.

Democracy can work in a clean and fair environment, however media consolidation in the US and Europe cancelled that entirely, and algorithmic censorship of alt-news further seals the doom of the Euro-American empire. Blinken recently equating climate change and nuclear war is ominous... suggesting the US "intelligence family" is willing to take the whole northern hemisphere down with them in a futile attempt to assert global hegemony in perpetuity.

So, I'm not too worried about things in Malaysia, except I'd like to know who MIGHT be using probably electronic eavesdropping, illegal drugs and misleading "information" (unfounded allegations and bogus science) to sway young voters opinions. But, that is the government's (MACC) job, not mine as I have other things to attend to.

Finally, please take time to appreciate the beauty in the world, and Malaysia. Focusing only on problems and differences is not healthy. Get outside, go jogging, swimming, and/or take the family to a park. Staying healthy is the best defense against corruption.

The answer to your question is social media.

If you tiktok, go 'ybviral' or 'papagomo' or 'papaberry'.

These guys deploy narratives and shape opinions.

Everything they say are backed by their inhouse data scientist et al.

If you hashtag #pru15 for example, these guys had a total of 3.6billion viewers.

You can check under post on tik tok
